Lloyd A. “Lucky” Chamberlin, 68, of Summer, Wash., died June 18, 2001, in Bozeman, Mont. Mr. Chamberlin died suddenly of a heart attack while vacationing in Montana.

Funeral services were held June 22 at United Methodist Church in Summer, with Pastor Annie Haves officiating. Interment was at the Summer Cemetery.

Lloyd Austin Chamberlin was born Dec. 22, 1932 in Dunlap, Iowa, to Virgil and Florence Chamberlin.

He retired from Boeing Aircraft Company 1990 after 35 years.

He was an active member of the Good Ol’ Time Racing Association. His nickname was “Lucky”.

He enjoyed cross country traveling, visiting friends and family along the way. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, music, and was an avid Mariner and a Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, sons, Mike, Curt, Mitch, and David; daughters, Debra, Pam, and Lana; and step-children, Tammy, Tim, Jeff and Jay; 21 grandchildren; his sisters, Wanda, Linda and many nieces and nephews.
