Elmer John Dornacker, three years and four month old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dornacker, of near Bennington, choked to death July 8th. A few weeks ago the child swallowed a kernel of corn and underwent an operation in an Omaha hospital. He had been home for over a week and seemed to be doing quite well. Tuesday morning, while playing in the yard, he was seized with a coughing spell and choked to death. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E. Ahrens at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at the residence, with interment at the German cemetery, north of Bennington.
