FORMER COUNTY RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Emma Dornacker, former Kennard and Blair resident, died suddenly at El Paso, Texas, Thursday.

Mrs. Dornacker is survived by her husband, Louie; sister, Mrs. Albert Kuhr, Blair; brothers, Henry Arp of Kennard and Fritz Arp of Fremont.

The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements which had not been completed when the Pilot-Tribune was printed Saturday.

MRS. L. DORNACKER DIES IN TEXAS

Mrs. Louie N. Dornacker of El Paso, Texas died suddenly of an asthma attack at her home on August 30th.

She was Emma Margaret Arp, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arp of Blair. She was born August 12, 1905 near Irvington and attended school near Kennard before moving to Blair with her parents in 1925. While in Blair she was employed for several years at the Danish Lutheran Publishing House.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard and was a member of the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in El Paso.

On March 12, 1930, she was married to Louie N. Dornacker and they lived on a farm near Kennard until 1948, when they moved to El Paso.

Mrs. Dornacker is survived by her husband, Louie; a sister, Mrs. Albert Kuhr (Belva); and two brothers, Henry Arp of Kennard and Fritz Arp of Fremont.

Funeral services were held September 4th at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. George Pallesen officiating. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Blair cemetery.
