FRED DORNACKER, SR., DIED HERE SATURDAY Funeral services were held Tuesday for Fred Dornacker, Sr., 75, of 604 West Front Street. Mr. Dornacker died Saturday, December 15th.

The deceased was born January 24, 1881 in the southern part of Washington county and spent most of his life devoted to farming. He was the last of the seven children of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Dornacker, early-day farmers here.

In 1904 he was married to Miss Maggie Thomsen, at Tekamah. To this union two sons and a daughter were born who survive their father. The sons are Louis Dornacker of El Paso, Texas and Frederick Dornacker, Jr., of Blair. The daughter if Mrs. Andrew Sorensen (Faye) of Kennard. Mrs. Dornacker passed away January 14, 1944.

In 1945 Mr. Dornacker retired from the farm near Kennard which had been his home for many years and moved to his present home in Blair. In January, 1945, he married Elsie Miller who survives his death.

Three stepchildren survive Mr. Dornacker. They are Mrs. Leroy McCann (Berniece) of Kennard, Leonard Miller of Lincoln and Marvin Miller of Beatrice.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church at Blair Tuesday, December 18th with the Rev. Donald Gates, of the Kennard Methodist Church officiating. Burial under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home was made in the Blair cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jens Juul, Fred Flake, Walter R. Nielsen, James Ryan, Henry Rasmussen and Joe DeVinney.
