She was a retired civilian worker for the Navy Department. She as a United States Navy Yeoman during World War II.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest H. Doucette of Loch Lomond; a daughter, Penelope Stotler Lynch of Springfield, Virginia; a brother, Myron Sorenson of Blair and two grandchildren.
