Merritt Morse Died At Age of 78

Private family services will be held on Tuesday, May 27th, for Merritt E. Morse of Blair. Mr. Morse passed away on May 23rd, at the Omaha Methodist Hospital. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 26th, at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair.

Mr. Morse was born September 20, 1896 at New Haven, Connecticut. He is survived by his wife Bessie (Robeson) Morse of Parkside Apartments in Blair. Mr. Morse was a salesman with the Dakota Directory Company.

Other survivors include children Mrs. Betty McMilland of Pawling, New York; Mrs. Virginia Boesen, Spearfish, South Dakota; and Charles Morse, Columbus, Nebraska.

Sisters are: Mrs. Marjorie Van Vliet, Mrs. Grace North and Mrs. Mae Simonson, all of Connecticut.

The family services will be Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Blair, Rev. Gordon Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery with arrangements by the Campbell Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Michael McMillan, John McMillan, Thomas McMillan, Brian Boesen, David Boesen and Clark Robeson.
