Mrs. James L. Dowling died at her home Tuesday morning following an illness of but a short duration. The deceased was born near Tekamah December 23, 1876 and later moved with her parents to a farm near Blair. In 1904 she was united in marriage to James Dowling and to this union one daughter, Doris Fern, was born.

Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church this afternoon with the Rev. Carl G. Bader in charge. She leaves to mourn her loss her bereaved husband and daughter.
