Services for Genevieve McGowan, 77 were Monday, April 1, 1996 at St. Roberts Church in Omaha. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. McGowan.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jo and Tom Luby, Omaha; Barbara and Jerry McRoberts, Gurley, Nebraska; and Geraldine and Doug Frost, Fort Collins, Colorado; a son and daughter-in-law, John M. (Michael) and Margaret McGowan, Lincoln; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Rev. Robert Rossbach, C.S.S.R., Laguri; Missouri and a sister, Fritzi Fry, Omaha.
