NATIVE KENNARD MAN DIED AT GRAND ISLAND

Graveside services for George P. Drevsen, age 82 of Grand Island, Nebr. were held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the Kennard Cemetery at Kennard, Nebr.
He was born July 19th, 1894 at Kennard, the son of Henry and Anna (Jeppesen) Drevsen. He grew to manhood in the Kennard community and attended Dana College in Blair.
He served with the 89th division during World War No. 1 in France. He was discharged from the service with a distinguished record. After his discharge he made his home at Bassett, Nebr., where he was a rancher until his retirement in 1955. He has resided in Grand Island since June of this year.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 232 of Kennard along with the American Legion of Kennard which will conduct graveside rites.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Rex R. Gay of Grand Island; 2 brothers Otis P. and Delmar L., both of Grand Island. He was preceded in death by his wife Nora and 1 sister Lydia.
