Gerald K. McIntosh Jr., 56, of Herman, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. There is no visitation.

Gerald K. McIntosh was born June 8, 1948, in Blair to Gerald and Ethel Mae (Metzler) McIntosh. He graduated from Blair High School in 1967.

On March 14, 1970, he married Kathleen Parker in Blair.

Mr. McIntosh worked for LBT (Liquid Bulk Tank), formerly known as Fruehoff, for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, Brice, of Omaha; one grandson; four sisters, Debbie Boyce of Herman, Yvonne Ladd of Buena Park, Calif., Irene Nordstrom of Tekamah, and Geraldine Metzler of Millard; brother, George McIntosh of Lincoln, and a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Tatum; sister, Ruth Salleng; two brothers, George and Harvey Salleng.
