Mrs. W.C. Seaton, who resided at Kansas City, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lamb, died in that city on Saturday last from the effects of child-birth and her remains were brought to Blair for interment in Rose Hill cemetery on Thursday. Rev. Main conducted the funeral services. She was well known in this county, and dearly beloved by a large circle of friends. Her husband was sick and could not come. A large number of Blair friends attended the burial services.

MRS. W. C. SEATON DEAD.

The remains of Mrs. W. C. Seaton, a former resident of this county and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lamb, arrived this morning by rail from her home at Kansas City, where she died Saturday evening last from the effects of child birth. Her remains were accompanied by her daughter, Anna, and her mother, Mrs. Lamb, the latter having gone down there last Saturday in response to a telegram giving notice of Mrs. Seaton’s dangerous condition, but arriving too late to see her daughter alive. The interment occurs today at Rose Hill where services will be held by Rev. Main of this place, and nearby there was the home of the deceased for many years. The husband, W. C., is sick at home and was unable to attend, but the remains were accompanied from here this morning by a number of carriages containing friends and relatives who reside here.
