Raymond C. “Shorty” Seefus, 86

Raymond C. “Shorty” Seefus, 86, of Valley, died Thursday, July 23, 1998, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Services were Saturday, July 25, at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn with the Rev. Wanda Fry officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn.

Pallbearers were Clair Byrne, Mark Eckerman, Melvin Growcock, Terry Lewis, John Ritner and Mark Seefus.

Raymond Charles “Shorty” Seefus was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Clayton, Wis.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and George Ritner of Valley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Helen Seefus of Blair and Larry and Bernice Seefus of Elkhorn; a sister, Jeanette Johnson of Valley; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
