Leone Nellie (Larson) Selby, 86

Leone Nellie Larson Selby, 86, formerly of Washington County, died July 28, 1999.

She was born Feb. 20, 1913, to Axel and Lucy (Christiansen) Larson on a farm north of Arlington.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Orum Lutheran Church and attended Bisbee School.

On July 29, 1932, she married Sam Selby of Iowa.

The couple farmed north of Arlington until they moved to Seattle, Washington in 1956.

In Washington, she worked for Boeings until her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Morris of Kent, Washington, and Delores Menking of Renton, Washington; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Skov of Blair; and two sisters-in-law, Norma Andersen of Fremont and Lela Dole of Washington.
