Sam F. Selby, 89 1/17/08-4/24/97

Sam F. Selby died Thursday April 24, 1997 in Renton, Wash.

Helen Skov of Blair is his sister-in-law.

Selby was born at Hendersen, Iowa Jan. 17, 1908. On July 29, 1932, he married Leone Larsen. He farmed north of Arlington until 1955 when they moved to Seattle, Wash. He worked at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle until he retired.

Survivors are his wife, Leone; two daughters, Darlene Morris of Kent, Wash. and Dee Menking of Renton, Wash.; six granddaughters; one grandson; 10 great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; several great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ray Rutledge of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Clarence Strassheim of Denver, Colo.
