MRS. ROY DUDGEON DIED SUNDAY

FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD AT 3 P.M. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Mrs. Roy E. Dudgeon, 69 years of age, of 325 South 25th Street, died Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital of complications following the flu.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Blair Congregational Church. The Rev. Clare Olney will officiate. Interment will be in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Dudgeon is survived by her husband, Roy E.; daughters, Mrs. Terry Beaver (Elinor) and Mrs. Herman Lauritsen (Jacqueline) both of Blair; step-sons, Wayne Dudgeon of Audubon, Iowa and Lyle Dudgeon of Perth, Australia; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Dudgeon, the former Allene Nelson, was born January 8, 1893 at Lehigh, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels T. Nelson. She married Roy E. Dudgeon October 6, 1923 at Papillion, Iowa.

Mrs. Dudgeon was a member of the Blair Congregational Church and an active worker in the Church Women’s Fellowship.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES FOR MRS. DUDGEON WEDNES.

Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Dudgeon were held Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational church. The Rev. Clare Olney officiated at the services.

Acting as pallbearers were: Jess Money, Harry Walker, Richard Daniels, Manley Fisher, Dr. Edwin Jipp and Edwin Jipp, Jr.

Burial under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, was made in the Blair cemetery.
