HERMAN MAN DIED AT VETERAN’S HOSPITAL THURSDAY

Billy Brooks Dudley, of Rural Route 1, Herman, died Thursday, May 27th at Veterans Hospital in Omaha. He was 45 years of age, having been born January 14, 1931, at Birmingham, Alabama. He was a truck driver for Wilkinson Manufacturing Co. of Fort Calhoun.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; and by eight sons and daughters. Gary Dudley lives at Denver; Richard at Herman; Gerald at Herman; Gary Dorathy and Gail Dorathy also live at Herman. The daughters are Maria Dudley of Herman; Sandra Roberts of Blair; and Pamela Dorathy of Herman. There are two grandchildren.

The deceased has two brothers, R. H. Dudley of Denver and Bud Dudley of Minnesota. He also has three sisters: Nell Claremont of Denver; Birdie Brooks of Denver; Virginia Kessner of Denver.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Saturday, May 29th. The Rev. Robert Albers of the First Lutheran Church conducted the service. The body will be cremated.
