Russell C. Senff, 37 11/20/59 - 10/6/97

Russell C. Senff, 37, 0f Omaha, who had taught at Fort Calhoun Junior High School, died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, after a car accident near Weston.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Luther Memorial Church, 60th and Western Ave., in Omaha. Visitation with family will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Westside Chapel, 1010 N. 72nd St., in Omaha.

Russell C. Senff was born Nov. 20, 1959, in Aurora to Wilmer and Doris Senff. He attended the Hampton Public Schools until his sophomore year and then finished his high school education in the Republican City Public Schools.

He earned his bachelor and master’s degrees in education from Kearney State College. He had previously taught in the Stanton, Trenton, Medicine Valley and Benkelman Schools.

He had recently taught five years in the Fort Calhoun Public Schools. He coached junior high football and junior high boys and girls basketball teams.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; two sons, Philip and Eric of Curtis; his mother, Doris, of Hampton; his father, Wilmer, of Republican City; one sister, Sandra Fairley of Daykin; and three brothers, Steve Senff of Clay Center; Clark Senff of Manhattan, Kan., and David Senff of York.

A memorial has been established. Westside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
