John Service died at his home in Omaha last Saturday of goiter, and the body was brought her Monday afternoon and taken direct to the cemetery for interment. He lived here for a good many years, having charge of Frank Castetter’s prancing steeds before the auto days arrived. He was in his 42nd year and leaves a wife and one son, Hillard. Also his father and mother, aged 82 and 78 respectively, who make their home with their daughter, Mrs. T.F. Burnett, in Benson. But two other sisters are now living out of a family of 3 sons and seven daughters, Mrs. Chas. Romans, of Fremont, and Mrs. Richard Crampton, of Yackima, Wash.
