Funeral services were Monday, November 20 at the Methodist Church in Pierce for Winnie M. Sexton, 105 of Hastings who died November 15, 1989 at the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings. Rev. Arthur Winkler officiated. Burial was in the Plainview Cemetery in Plainview.

Winnie Bullock Sexton was born May 5, 1884 in North Bend. She attended schools in Hooper and Fremont.

She married William Boschult October 15, 1902. They farmed near Foster in Pierce County and then moved to Foster when they were the owner-operators of the Nye-Snyder Elevator there during the 1920’s. He died in October, 1941.

She married Ernest Sexton February 1, 1945. They lived in Nickerson and Fremont. He died June, 1968.

She moved to Norfolk in 1969 and to the Good Samaritan Village in 1973.

She is survived by two daughters, Velma Lederer of Pierce and Dorothy Christian of Hastings; three stepsons, Marvin Sexton of Nickerson, Maurice Sexton of LaMesa, California and Robert Sexton of Durango, Colorado; two stepdaughters, Violet Hunter of Ridge Crest, California and Phyllis Badger of Denver, Colorado; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Brand Wilson Mortuary in Hastings was in charge of arrangement for the services.
