Services for Beth Margaret Peterson Dugan, age 91, who died Sunday, November 22 at the Rochester Nursing Home, Rochester, Indiana will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25 at Foster & Good Funeral Home in Rochester with Pastor James Kraft officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Mausoleum, Altadena, California.
Beth was born September 10, 1901 to Delmer & Drusilla Stewart McCann in Arlington, Nebraska.
She was united in marriage July 14, 1920 in Arlington, Nebraska to Leslie E. Peterson who preceded her in death March 13, 1959.
She married Harry Dugan in 1961 in Pasadena, California who also preceded her in death November 20, 1964.
She was a former employee with the State of California School District.
She had resided at the Rochester Nursing Home for the past five years.
Beth was a member of Christian Science Mother Church, Boston MA; charter member of American Legion Aux. Post 71, Arlington, VA; member of OES - lifetime membership over 70 years; a member of DAR, Pasadena, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and parents.
She is survived by three sons, Donovan ”Pete” Peterson, Rochester, IN; Lowell Peterson, Corvallis, Oregon; Jerry Peterson, San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Karen Peterson, Nan Peterson, Julie Peterson, Tressie Peterson, Scott Peterson, Tom Peterson, all of California and Mrs. Brad (Jill) Jenkins, Akron, IN; three great-grandchildren, Dawn Peterson, California; Derek and Donovan Jenkins, Akron, IN; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Kindler, Tekamah, Nebraska.
