EARLY-DAY BLAIR RESIDENT DIES

Relatives in Blair have received word of the death of Mrs. Susan Dulaney of Felton, California. She passed away March 18 at Felton, at the age of 99 years, 9 days. She was born March 9, 1862 at Batchtown, Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. Levi Turner. Later the Turners moved to a farm near Blair, Nebraska where she attended school and grew to womanhood. The family moved into Blair and later she was married to Lewis Dulaney. Five children were born to this union, three of them preceded her in death.

After Mr. Delaney passed away she moved to California to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sprecker with whom she has resided ever since.

She leaves to mourn her death a son, Thomas of Greenfield, Iowa, and her daughter, Ina, of Felton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Interment was made in the Odd Fellows Mausoleum at Santa Cruz, California, Tuesday, March 21st.
