ELLA DUNGAN, 85
Funeral services for Ella Augusta Dungan, 85, of Blair will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 1987, at Campbell Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Dungan will officiate.
Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Persia, Iowa.
She was born in Persia September 6, 1902, to Charles and Alta (Porter) Heath.
After attending schools in Persia, she chose practical nursing as a career, and worked in Omaha nursing homes.
Ella moved to Blair four years ago, and lived in Parkview Manor.
She married Miles Dungan; they were divorced.
She is survived by daughters Delores Porter of Blair, Mrs. Al (Lilah) Monte of Blair, Mrs. L.D. (Jean) Mancill of Fairbanks, Alaska; and sons, Sylvester “Cy” Dungan of Pearson, Iowa, Miles Junior Dungan of Wilmer, Texas, and David R. Dungan of Kansas City, Kansas; and by 29 grandchildren and by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter and three brothers.
