Services for Charles McKee, age 69 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, January 2, 1992, were held Saturday, January 4 at the First Christian Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Charles William McKee was born on December 12, 1922 at Decatur, Nebraska to Charles J. and Clara Phipps McKee. He graduated from Decatur High School in 1940.

He served in the army during World War II from 1943 until 1945.

On January 2, 1943 he married Lois Johnson at Tekamah, Nebraska.

He lived in Decatur until moving to Blair in 1949. He was employed with Fairway Oil Company prior to retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving him in death is his wife, Lois; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Linda McKee, Rod and Kolleen McKee, all of Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and John Cashman, Steger, Illinois; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorene (Mrs. Wendell) Homes, Blair and Bernice (Mrs. Kenneth) Andersen, Fremont, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
