David Hines, 55, formerly of Blair, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Henderson, Nev.

Private services are planned.

David Hines was born June 5, 1958, in Omaha, to Frank and Shirley Hines.

He graduated from Blair High School in 1976.

He worked as a slot tech at the Railroad Pass Casino in Las Vegas, Nev., for the last 25 years.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Elizabeth Hines; sister Catherine Johnson (Hines); and sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Mark Trompke.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
