Mrs. William Seeley died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Chapin, last Tuesday and the funeral was held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Lang and Rev. Sturdevant officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery. Mary Catherine Wilds was born in Scioto county, Ohio, December 16th , 1849, and came to this county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wilds, in 1865. Besides her father she leaves three sisters, Mrs. S. Leslie, Weston, Iowa, Mrs. Lou Peterson and Mrs. John Dulaney, of this city; three brothers, Ed of this city, James, of DeSoto and Elmer, of Fremont. Her death resulted from a cancer on her arm, caused by a severe burn many years ago while pouring coal oil in the stove to start the fire.
