LLOYD CHAMBERS BURIED WEDNESDAY

Lloyd Chambers passed away suddenly in an Omaha hospital Sunday January 19th.

He was born on September 2, 1888 to Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Chambers at Eldorado, Nebraska. On September 27, 1911 he was married to Bertha Moore in Omaha. They were the parents of a son, Bill Chambers, now of Rome, Italy.

Mr. Chambers was with the Blair City Lights Department for 40 years. He retired during the summer of 1962. Mr. and Mrs. Chambers observed their Golden Wedding anniversary by taking a plane trip around the world.

Survivors besides his wife, Bertha, and son Bill, is a sister, Mrs. Ross Deets (Mona).

The funeral services were held Wednesday, January 22nd, at the Campbell Mortuary. Father Sam Elliston of Omaha officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Hugh Cooke, Fred Sass, A. W. Andrews, Roy Follen, Earl Hardy and Joe Wesson of Omaha.

Mr. Lloyd Chambers of 1441 Grant Street was admitted to the Methodist Hospital in Omaha Sunday afternoon, January 19th, and passed away shortly afterwards. He was 75 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha, a son, Bill Chambers, and a sister, Mrs. Ross Deets (Mona).

The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements and services are pending the arrival of family.
