Services were Monday, December 11 at Boyd E. Braman Mortuary for Marie R. Shaffer, 86, of Omaha and formerly of Fort Calhoun. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Freda and Bud and Marianne; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Roger Sorensen; Nancy and Al Kummer and Shirley Cox; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a sister, Violet Vorce.
