OLD RESIDENT GONE

Thursday morning, after suffering from a paralytic stroke some few weeks ago, Mr. Charles Chapin, aged about 80 years, passed away at the home of his son in this city. Mr. Chapin has made Blair his home off and on for the past eighteen years, and came here this last time some five or six week ago, at which time he was attacked with the affliction which brought about his death.

At the residence Friday morning services were held over the body by Rev. Chas. Lang of the Methodist Church, after which the remains were carried to the depot and shipped to his home in Ohio for burial.
