Esther L. Shearman, 94

Graveside services for Esther L. Shearman, 94, of Blair were held Monday, March 5, 2007, at Westlawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Mrs. Shearman died Feb. 24 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Esther L. Picken was born on Oct. 3, 1912, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Henry and Louise (Pross) Picken.

She married Kenneth K. Shearman on October 3, 1932.

She lived in the Atlantic, Iowa and Omaha areas before moving to Blair in 1982.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Mary Shearman of Blair; and Melvin and Chris Shearman of Ashland; a daughter, Evelyn Green of Minneapolis, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, one brother and two sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
