MRS. M. DOLAN DIES IN NURSING HOME

Mrs. Mary Dolan, 84, pioneer resident in this area who has lived in and near Arlington for more than 50 years, died Monday at a Lincoln nursing home.

Early last fall, Mrs. Dolan had suffered a stroke here and was taken to the home of her son, Warren Dolan in Lincoln. Later she was taken to a hospital there and then to the nursing home.

Mrs. Dolan was born in April of 1857 in Virginia.

Survivors are her sons, Warren of Lincoln and Francis E. Dolan of Arlington. Her husband preceded her in death in 1921. The couple resided on a farm near here before Mr. Dolan’s death and some time later Mrs. Dolan moved to Arlington. She was employed as a practical nurse while there.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Congregational Church in Arlington of which she was a member, with Rev. H. C. Van Valkenburgh officiating.
