LORI L. DOLL, 49

Former Washington County resident Lori L. Doll, 49, died April 20, 2006, in Arlington, Va. A memorial service was slated at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, Va.

Lori Lynn Doll graduated from Blair High School in 1975. She was named to the 1982 edition of Outstanding Young Women of America. She lived in Portland, Ore., for many years and graduated from Portland State University in 1992 with her master’s degree in business administration. She later moved to Washington, D.C., where she graduated from Georgetown University Law Center while battling cancer. She was unable to pursue that career because of the cancer’s recurrence.

She enjoyed books and music, and was the happiest when helping others.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Jackson; parents, Gladys and Lyle Doll of Elkhorn; and a brother, Johnny, of Omaha.
