Graveside services were Sat., Oct. 19 at the Blair Cemetery for Geraldine Beryl McKercher, 89 of Blair who died Oct. 16, 1996 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Geraldine Beryl McKercher was born Jan. 3, 1907 in rural Blair to Fred and Maude Mathews Metzler. She graduated from Blair High School in 1923.

She worked for over 30 years as a night operator for the HunTel Telephone Company.

She married Shirly A. McKercher in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1940.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Phyllis Olsen and a brother, Harold Metzler.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Judy McKercher of Blair; three grandchildren, Mark of St. Louis, Mo.; Mike of Blair; Jerri Pederson of Blair and four great-grandchildren, Rachel Herman, Amy Herman, Ryan Herman and Katelyn Pederson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
