Clara Pieper dies at 92

Funeral services for Clara P. Pieper, the wife of Carl Pieper, were Friday, July 13, at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial was at the Blair Cemetery Friday.

Mrs. Pieper was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Rebecca Lodge, and War Mothers. She resided at Good Shepherd Home and died Tuesday, July 10. She was 92.

She is survived by her husband Carl, sons Harold Pieper of Huron, S.D., Paul Pieper of Omaha, daughter Mrs. Joe (Mary Jean) Halm of Kalispell, Montana, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers for the services, officiated by Rev Dale Westadt, were Kelly Ryan, Robert Ryan, Russell Ryan, Wayne Lambertz, Perry Ryan and Myron Tofte. Organist was Bette Kirk.

Mrs. Pieper’s parents were Peter Jensen and Mary Anderson Jensen.
