Graveside services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 at the Blair Cemetery for Harold C. Pieper, 74 of Huron, South Dakota, who died July 25, 1996 in Huron.

Harold C. Pieper was born July 6, 1922 in Blair to Carl and Clara Jensen Pieper. He was a graduate of Blair High School.

He was a Navy veteran, having served during World War II.

He had lived in Huron since 1963, where he worked for the Bell System.

He was married to Lois Bundt. She preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Joe Halm of Honolulu, Hawaii, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul Pieper of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Bill Halm of Graham, Texas; nieces, Terry Pieper of Boulder, Colorado and Mary Jo Commins and Bonnie Johnson, both of Anchorage, Alaska.

Memorials may be directed to the Northside Christian Church in Omaha.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
