Joy L. Pieper, 80

Joy L. Pieper, 80, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in the Blair Cemetery.

Joy L. Bilby was born on May 17, 1927, in Omaha to John and Juanita (Seacat) Bilby. She attended and graduated from Benson High School.

On Nov, 27, 1948, she married Paul Pieper in Omaha. He preceded her in death in December of 1995.

Mrs. Pieper was past executive director of the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

She is survived by her son, Jack, of Council Bluffs; daughter Nancy Terry Pieper, Longmont, Colo.; one grandson; brother and sister-in-law, John and Karla Bilby of Colorado; and many cousins.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
