Darlene Loretta Pierce

The funeral of Darline Loretta Pierce, three months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pierce was held at the Baptist church, the Rev. Arthur D. Smalley, pastor, officiating, on Friday afternoon last. The child died at Elkhorn on Thursday, November 20, and was brought to the home of Mrs. Clara Pierce. Both parents survive the passing of the little one.

Little Darline Loretta Pierce, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pierce, of Herman, died at Elkhorn, Nebraska, last Thursday, November 20. She was taken to the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Clara Pierce, and the funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. The little girl was born August 28, 1924, so was therefore only three months old. The bereaved parents have the sincere sympathy of the community.
