MRS. DONALDSON BURIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. George W. Donaldson passed away suddenly from a heart attack, on Saturday, January 4th, at the home of a cousin, Miss Elizabeth Noble, in Van Nuys, California.

As Shirley Castetter, she was born to Mr. and Mrs. Francis Castetter in Blair on April 29th, 1888. After her marriage to George W. Donaldson, she made her home in Omaha. Her husband passed away about twenty years ago. Mrs. Donaldson returned to Blair to make her home several years ago. She was spending the winter months in California with relatives at the time of her death.

Survivors are Sam Haller of Blair; Clarkson Haller of Omaha; Miss Elizabeth Noble and Mrs. Melvin Nore of Van Nuys, California, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. on January 8th. Fr. Ray W. Schaumburg officiated. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Sam Haller, Harold Cantlin, G. L. Dixon, W. B. Arndt, Hugh Cook, and Kenneth Pounds.
