CARL DONATH, 71, BURIED AUGUST 11th

Carl Donath, 71-year-old farmhand in the Ft. Calhoun vicinity, passed away Aug. 8th in a nursing home at Plattsmouth. He had been in failing health for a number of months.

Mr. Donath came to the Ft. Calhoun vicinity in 1929 and had worked as a farmhand at a number of places. Much of the time he was in the employ of Ernest Rix.

The deceased was born in Schleswig, Germany and came to this country as a youth. His wife passed away several years ago. The location of other relatives had not been determined early Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the Sievers Mortuary in Ft. Calhoun and burial will be made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery. The Rev. H. C. Jorgensen will conduct the service.
