Mrs. Dorothea Donnelly died at an Omaha hospital on Monday following an illness of lengthy duration. She suffered a paralytic stroke about eighteen weeks ago and last week she fell and broke her hip after which she was confined to an Omaha hospital. The deceased was born at Red Oak, Mo., on July 23, 1871, and later moved to Harrison county, Iowa, with her parents. In 1888 she was married to Henry Matthews and to this union two children were born, both of whom survive her. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jesse Watts of this city; a son, Wilbur Asbury Matthews, of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Virgil, Hardin and Clarence Campbell; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Stricklett and Mrs. Nell Walton. Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church yesterday afternoon with Rev. A. J. Hargett officiating, after which interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
