ALBERT DIXON

Albert Dixon, one of the oldest residents of this county and town, died at his home in Dexterville on Friday night, Feb. 21st, aged 56 years. The ailment that caused his death seemed to be a complication of liver trouble, followed by a stroke or paralysis.

Mr. Dixon was one of seven brothers, three of whom, Asa Dixon, sr., Earl, and W. W. Dixon, are residents of Blair. All of these brothers were present at the funeral with the exception of George who resides in Oklahoma and who at the time was ill. Of the immediate family of the deceased, the children were all present with the exception of the eldest son, Floyd, who resides in British Columbia.

Mr. Dixon was a good citizen, father and husband and a man who was respected by all who knew him. He was conscientious and honest in his dealings and will be missed not only by his relatives but by hosts of friends.

The funeral was held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist church and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
