BROTHER DIES IN INDIANA

John Dixon of Ft. Calhoun, returned last Friday from a trip to Hammond, Ind., where he was called by the death of his oldest brother, Jasper Marian Dixon, on Jan. 5. The deceased was sixty-five years old last July and leaves a wife and an adopted daughter fourteen years old. He was seized with a heart attack while sitting in his chair visiting with fellow workers.

His sudden death was a great shock to his wife, whose sister, who had been visiting them from Milford, Ill. since Christmas, passed away the day previous, Jan. 4.

The deceased had worked for the railroad company for twenty-six years.

Besides the wife and daughter, he is survived by three brothers, John of Ft. Calhoun; A. E., who lives north of Blair; and Emory of Omaha. Burial was made at Woodland, Ill.
