Mrs. Isaac Dixon died of old age last Wednesday and the funeral was held at the farm home north of town on Friday, Rev. C. W. Savidge, of Omaha, officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery. Miss Louisa Body was born in Iroquois county, Ill., September 29, 1841 and was therefore 70 years, 3 months and 26 days old. She was the youngest of ten children, her family being one of the pioneer families of Illinois. Her father lived to be 101 years of age. She was married to Mr. Isaac Dixon at Watseka, Ill., 49 years ago October 2nd, and after two years came to Nebraska, which has been their home ever since. They have lived on the farm north of town since 1893. Besides her husband she leaves a brother at Watseka, Ill., and five sons, J. M., of Hammond, Ind.; E. J. of Arlington; J. L. and A. E. who live up on the bottom near the home place and P. W. of this city. She was a faithful wife and a kind mother, always conscientious in the performance of duty. She is mourned by a host of friends, as was shown by the beautiful floral tributes and the large attendance at the funeral.

Mrs. Isaac Dixon died at her home north of Blair last Wednesday and the funeral was held Friday, Rev. Savidge of Omaha being in charge. Louisa Body was born September 19, 1841 in Iroquois county, Ill., and was the youngest of ten children of Isaac and Mary Body, a pioneer family of Illinois. She was married October 2, 1862 to Isaac Dixon and lived there for 21 years and then came to Nebraska, where they have since resided. To mourn her loss are left an aged husband and five sons, J. M. of Hammond, Ind.; John L., P. Wesley, A. Ernest of Blair; and Emery I. of Arlington.
