TRACY G. DIXON, 52

Tracy G. Dixon, 52, of Fremont, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at A. J. Merrick Manor.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont with Pastor John Plowman officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. in the Blair Cemetery. There is no visitation.

Tracy G. Dixon was born May 6, 1951, in Blair to Doris and Gifford L. Dixon, Jr.

He lived in Beatrice from 1955 to 1975, when he moved back to Blair. He lived in Blair until 1994, when he worked for the ENCOR program. He was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont and was very active in the “Special Classes Choir.” His hobbies were collecting family photos and conversations with friends and family on all topics.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Doris and Leonard Anthony of Fremont; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel Dixon of Omaha; R. Scott and Kathy Dixon of Salina, Kan.; Tyler and Lynda Dixon of Goodyear, Ariz.; and Matthew J. Dixon of Fremont; sister and brother-in-law, Beth A. and Steve Mincer of Omaha; four stepbrothers, two nephews and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gifford L. Dixon, Jr.

Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.

Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
