Harold L. “Pat” Chase, a brother of Jim Chase of Ft. Calhoun and Barbara Burmeister, also of Ft. Calhoun, died June 1st in Omaha. He was 63 years of age.

As a young man he had a colorful career in baseball after which he spent 30 years in the lumber business.

He survived by his wife, Elma and by his mother, Mrs. Roy Chase and by two children, Patrick Lee of Omaha and Marilyn of Sebring, Florida.

He had four brothers, Bill and John Chase of Omaha, Jim of Ft. Calhoun and Amos of Los Angeles. He had two sisters Barbara Burmeister, of Ft. Calhoun and Marjorie Dorsey, of Phoenix, Arizona. There are four grandchildren.

Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
