FORMER COUNTY FARMER IS DEAD

Joseph Glen Anderson, retired Powell, Wyoming farmer, passed away at his home at the age of 70 years. Death was attributed to Emphysema, a lung disease from which he had suffered for four years.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church in Powell Monday.

Mr. Anderson was born February 11, 1890, in Blair, Nebr., youngest son of Samuel and Elizabeth Anderson. He was educated in Blair schools and later assisted his father on the farm which was purchased in 1867, and located north of Blair on the Bottom road. Here he grew to manhood, and later moved to Downer, Colo., and married Miss Rosa Bennett. Three children were born to this union: William Glen of Midland, Tex., Irene Neely of Denver, and Harold Eugene, who died in infancy.

Survivors include his wife, two children, five grandchildren; a brother, Wallace; and sister, Mrs. J.C. Reynolds of Powell, several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Mrs. Perry Clark of Herman; and a brother, Robert, preceded him in death.
