Ruth L. McKinnis, 91, of Blair, died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at Crowell Memorial Home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

A prayer service will be Tuesday, at 7 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Ruth L. McKinnis was born Dec. 19, 1907, to Clifford and Hazel (Sisson) Marr in Tekamah.

She attended school in Tekamah and on Dec. 22, 1925, married Clarence McKinnis in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The couple lived in Tekamah until 1944 and then moved to Blair.

She worked at the Brush Factory in Blair and at Crowell Memorial Home.

She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Andrew Nielsen of Omaha, and Hazel and Bernard Adams of Bridgeport; sons and daughters-in-law, Clair and Gwen McKinnis of Blair, and LeRoy and Audrey McKinnis of Taylor, Ariz.; twelve grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ervin and Velma Marr of Omaha; brothers, Peter and Orville Marr of Tekamah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died in April 1972; one brother, Clarence Marr; one sister, Iva Rager; and one grandson, Dan McKinnis.

Memorials are suggested to the Blair Rescue Squad or Trinity Lutheran Church.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
