Luella G. (Lively) Chermok, age 78, of Blair, died at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair early on Saturday morning, March 4, 1989.

Luella was born on August 2, 1910 at Whiting, Iowa to Roy and Alma (Barber) Lively. She attended the School for the Deaf in Omaha, and lived on a farm near David City, Nebraska before moving to this area about 1970.

She was married to Rudolph J. Chermok on June 20, 1935 at Filer, Idaho. To this union was born one daughter, Shirley Mae.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Mae (Mrs. Claude) Dochaw; one sister, Barbara Wright of Kearns, Utah; one brother, Donald Lively of Atomic City, Idaho; and several cousins. Luella was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Russell, William, and Norman; and one sister, Blanche.

Funeral services are held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur.
