Maria Laura Vidal de Chrisman, 32, of La Vista, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Dec. 30, at Crosby Burket Swanson Golden Colonial Chapel in Omaha. A private inurnment followed.

Laura came to Omaha from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she was an English teacher, to marry her true love. She was pursuing a degree in computer programming and was a straight “A” student. She was planning to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in January 2008. Until October 2007, she worked at Bank of the West, where she led and mentored her “kids”. She was an accomplished pianist and loved to sing (or shout) in the car. She was the most loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could hope for and a light to everyone who met her. She was so very loved and will be terribly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Brad S., of La Vista; parents, Teresa and Jorge Vidal; brother and sister-in-law, Gabriel and Veronica Vidal; sister, Celeste Vidal; uncle, Carlos Piragine, all of Buenos Aires; mother-in-law, Barbara J. Chrisman; sister-in-law and spouse, Amanda and Mike Bruckner of Omaha; niece, Martin Vidal; nephews: Nicolas Vidal, Mitchell Bruckner; Liam Bruckner; beloved dog, Max; and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her grand mother Filomena Pucci.

Memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Humane Society.
