Services for Clara M. McMahon, 96 of Lincoln who died June 21, 1991 at a Lincoln nursing home were Monday, June 24 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Clara M. McMahon was born October 3, 1894 in Blair to John Henry and Margaret M. Foley McMahon. Her parents homesteaded in Washington County. Her father started the Blair Telephone Company and was a former county clerk of Washington County.

She graduated from Blair High School and was a 1915 graduate of the University of Nebraska. She was an X-ray technician until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lincoln, Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and the Association of X-ray Technicians.

She is survived by a brother, Raymond J. Jr., Omaha; three nieces, Ann Christensen, Omaha, Margaret Kirchgater, Sacramento, California and Helen Haldrerman, Alturas, California; great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lincoln.
