Harold McMahon Died Friday. Rites Here Wednesday

A former Blair resident, Harold F. McMahon, 64 years of age, of Little Rock, Ark. Died Friday of injuries received in a highway accident near Little Rock Friday.

Rosary will be recited at Kramer Funeral Home in Omaha Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock with services at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. McMahon is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McMahon. Mr. McMahon was born in Blair and moved with his parents to Lincoln when he was of high school age. He was well known for his activity in athletics. He was a member of the University of Nebraska football team back in the twenties, when the Cornhuskers played Notre Dame and the famed “Four Horsemen”.

He is survived by his wife, Berniece; three sisters, Grace, Clara and Alice McMahon, all of Lincoln; two brothers, Byron J. of Sacramento, Calif., and Raymond of Omaha. Robert Foley of Blair is an uncle.
